  Fab food in a funky location. Wife had grits and shrimp with Creole dressing. I had berry salad with grilled chicken. Both were well above excellent. Desert was cranberry cheesecake. Wow. Well worth a jaunt off I10 to Chattahoochee. Unbelievable to find food this good in such a small town. Call ahead! Hours are variable. Apparently the chef travels a bit to gather ingredients. Chef it is, not cook!

  Rutabagas is amazing! The food is always delicious! The decode is inviting and the staff are friendly. They go above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience. I have celiac disease and they have worked with me each time I've ordered there. Well worth the drive and wait!

  Hands-down the best food in town. The atmosphere is homely and welcoming. In the evening they set-out candles which makes it more romantic. I absolutely love the garden and the little touches of color or pattern throughout the house-restaurant. The food is fantastic, and worth the trip from Tallahassee or Marianna. My favorite are their burgers which are usually not on the printed menu. They will not disappoint.

  Beautifully decorated little place with gorgeous garden and pond out front. The food is always great, though sometimes slow to get to you. But the quality is worth the wait! Best for couples, or very small groups.
